Hero image creation

This image was created as the hero shot for an advertising campaign for a building company. In order to sell the 'dream' I decided to change the background and place the home on the beach. The background is a composition of 3 separate photographs. The sky and beach were shot professionally, the pandanus palm I photographed myself. A fair amount of photoshop work went into the image. Giving it an almost fantasy like appearance. This hero image created cut through in press advertising, signage, web and video productions. Unlike anything else other builders were creating to sell their products, this image beautifully represented the aspirations of the new home buyer.

4 separate images were photographed and edited in Photoshop to create the finished composition. The image was then transposed across various print collateral, signage, web and video production.
