Video Editing for Giovanna Home
Using still images which I art directed, I then edited this video for Giovanna Home to showcase her homewares products and canvas art designs at the Sydney trade fare. Please take a couple of minutes to view this movie, the work is truly inspirational. The first half of the movie features the white metal product designs, the second half of the movie features the canvas art I designed for Giovanna Home. The sound tracks behind the video add a raw emotional value to the piece. As Art Director for the project, I briefed Thor Engelstad Photography to shoot the product images instore at Samsara Furniture and Homewares using lighting to create the right mood. I coordinated and briefed the stylist and assisted in the styling and planning for each shot. The canvas art designs are also my creations, constructed in Photoshop and were combined with many hand crafted graphic effects I had developed during my 20 plus years as a graphic designer. The photography used as a foundation for the art work was taken by Giovanna Aryafara. World music from the Samsara Lounge CD by talented artist and musician Gavri.
